Short Term Rental Agreement

2646020 Ontario Inc. o/a The Office on Gloucester (hereinafter referred to as “we”, “us”, or “our”) hereby grants you (hereinafter referred to as “the Renter”) permission to use the room selected on the terms set out below, all of which form part of this agreement. We will rent rooms only to businesses who comply with this agreement:

Payment is due in full at time of booking. The room reservation is not finalized until payment has been processed. The Renter and any team members and/or guests must leave the premises the agreed upon time as per the room reservation. Failure to do so may result in additional fees for which the Renter will be held responsible. 

Rental Space:
The Renter and its team members and/or guests agree to not use other work areas, equipment, phones, or other areas of the building. The Renter shall confine all of its activities, equipment and promotional materials to within the room reserved. Use is limited to the room rented and public areas such as the restrooms. 

Reasonable Enjoyment:
As The Office is occupied by many clients, we ask that the Renter and its team members/guests be conscious of noise level at all times.

Cancellation Policy:
If a room reservation is cancelled with more than two business days’ notice, a refund will be processed for the payment, less a 20% cancellation fee. Refunds will not be issued for room reservations cancelled with less than two business days’ notice.

Food Policy:
Food and non-alcoholic beverages may be served in the room. Limited access to kitchen facilities may be available if requested at time of booking. The coordination of food orders, deliveries, and payment are the sole responsibility of the Renter.

Cleaning Policy:
The room must be left in proper order with all paper, trash, etc. disposed of in trash receptacles. A clean up fee of $75 + HST will be charged if the room is not left in the same tidy condition it was in upon the Renter’s arrival.

Damage Policy:
The Renter is responsible for any and all damage to the facilities and/or contents and fixtures. All damage must be reported to our staff immediately. The Renter shall be charged for the cost of all repairs, replacement, and extra cleaning required as a result of their use of the room.

We are not responsible for any damage to or loss of personal property as a result of the Renter’s use of the room. The Renter is responsible for the actions of its team members and/or guests while using the room.
